Rental and 'savoir vivre' in the Alsace region and the Vosges mountains
JoliSoleil rents out a number of beautiful chalets, farms and apartments in the Lorraine - Vosges mountains. They are situated in the villages of Gérardmer, Laveline du Houx, La Forge (Le Tholy), Plainfaing and Vexaincourt.

Our fermette La belle Bête is located in Laveline du Houx (close to Gérardmer). Here you can stay with 4 to 9 people.
People or (big) families that enjoy lots of space and/or two families that like to spend their holiday together (or small groups) will enjoy their stay in our big farm Le grand Soleil situated in between Le Tholy and Gerardmer.
Here you can stay with 4 to 12 (15) people.

There are 3 toilets and 3 bathrooms.
In 2008 next to this, there will be the possibility to rent the apartment Le petit Soleil. The apartment will be completely independent form the farm. It will have 2 bedrooms and it's own private entrance.
Our two chalets , Linda-Catharina (a double chalet) at Plainfaing, near Gerardmer, are suitable for 4-6 persons each.
Our chalet ‘Vonne’ at Vexaincourt is also suitable for 4-6 persons. It is situated near the 'Lac Pierre Percée' , the lake of Pierre Percée, and is situated in a very quiet environment.
There is a large garden and it is possible to set up one or more tents in the garden.
Our apartment ’Tica’ at Gérardmer is suitable for 4 persons. You can walk to the ski lopes or you take a walk down into the city of Gerardmer. The view of the lake is really breathtaking. On the photo it is the left 'independent' apartment.
Savoir vivre
But we can do more for you! We know our way around northeast of France. We know, for example, where to dine well. Not because we read that in a booklet or so but because we’ve been there! We are talking about ‘farmrestaurants’, but also about restaurants with one or more Michelin stars.
Would you like to know the wines of the Alsace better? Of course we know the “Route du Vin” ( wine route). We have visited many wineries and vineyards ourselves. If you want, we can suggest where to go for your own wine tasting tour.
We can also guide you. You could join us for a (half) day on a ‘wine trip’. You ‘ll be visiting different wine producers, big ones and small ones, each with their own philosophy. End the day with dinner and Alsacian wines.
